Rules
1. Inscription to the Monte Carlo Rock – for up to eighty groups - will be done by filling the enclosed application form. Participants will have to send a schedule for the arrangement of the instruments on the stage, together with the application form. The under aged participants should submit as well a written authorization by their parents. Inscription should not be sent no later than January 19th 2004 to the following address:

2. Preliminary section. Participants will have to send to the Organizers a recorded song that will be judged by our technical jury. Mr. Franco Solar, our Art Director, will select the Groups that will be admitted to the Monte-Carlo Rock Event. 3. The Organization will send a telegram or a fax to the selected Groups with the details in order to participate to the Rock Festival: day and time schedule of the Selections of the Monte-Carlo Rock Festival that will take place in Monaco from January 23rd to January 24th 2004.
4. The admittance fee for the selected Groups has been fixed in the sum of 120 euros per person: accommodation (2 days in first class residence) and organization expenses included. This sum has to be paid by the person representing each group by postal order to PROART. The payment has to be done not later than 5 days from the receipt of the Organization acceptance. In the case the Groups will not show up and therefore will not participate, no reimbursement will be provided.
5. At the moment of the registration to this event all the participants, will automatically give free authorization to PROART to spread and promote their participation, their image and songs also through Radio, TV, Internet in Italy and abroad without time, space and passages limitation (for limited period of time during Montecarlorock 23/24, 2004). The organisation will be able to yield the master supplied from the participants for the realisation of a CD compilation.
6. The competition will take place in the Principality of Monaco at the "AUDITORIUM RAINIER III" Boulevard Louis II, starting from January 23rd to January 24th 2004. For the registered Groups the details and conditions will be fixed by the Organization. Each band will perform only one song. The timetable of the final will be as follows:
Four shifts of 4 hours each and two finalist groups for each selection 2 juries will be present and according to the Rules, they will respect their own turn. During the selections each group has 12 minutes to perform one or more songs in front of the audience. |
